Acrylic Barrel Lamp
Made by Timothy Ung
This laser cut acrylic barrel light is inspired by the design and construction of a classic wooden barrel used for storing and aging wine. It's comprised of vertical slats that resemble the exterior wood panels that are pounded together to form the enclosure of a wooden barrel. There are 2 horizontal bands (one on top and one on the bottom) that resemble the steel bands that hold the wooden pieces together. The barrel light is a sculptural piece that compliments any room through its subtle presence and diffusion of light.

This lamp, made from baltic birch, fit together perfectly. No glue was needed which saved us a step. It looks amazing on the lamp base. Thanks for a great file.
