✨ Now available in Proofgrade® Raw. What is Proofgrade® Raw? ✨
Proofgrade® Basswood Plywood’s light surface and fine, even grain make it a fan-favorite for detailed engravings, painted signs, and layered art pieces. It’s the perfect choice for high-contrast designs, and for use as inlays with darker woods like Walnut.
With distinctive patterns and grains, Proofgrade® Plywoods are custom fabricated with different cores depending on the thickness you choose: Light and Thick Plywoods feature a natural hardwood core, while Medium Plywoods use an engineered wood core.
Proofgrade® Light Plywood takes your projects from start to finish quickly. Compared to Medium Plywood, it is thinner, weighs less, and cuts twice as fast. Because the Light core is natural hardwood rather than engineered material, it is stronger in one direction than the other. This makes it ideal for structural designs, but less suitable for delicate cuts like living hinges.
Choose Your Finish: All options match our Hardwoods and Plywoods, so you can combine for a consistent and professional look.
