This was such a fun project, so easy (once I found the right size ball bearing the smallest one at 1/16, at my local hardware store).
I then did a dark walnut stain around the outside frame, and a warm stain on top of the maze, and left the bottom of the maze light basswood.

Need to add what size ball to use. I found that a 1.5 mm works.

I loved the design! Anything snap together that doesn’t require glue is just so cool! But as I played I realized one section of puzzle wall that was a little loose and when the whole thing snapped together the wall had move a hair. This blocked the ball from getting to where it needed to go. I had to take the whole thing apart glue the loose piece down where it needed to be and then put it all back together. It was a pain.

I have mixed feelings! It is super cute and I can see possibilities. But it is so small, the bead is so small, the print is so small. To make it larger would mess with kerf and no time for that! A little tweaking and it would be great!
