This layered ornament can be made several ways, with either 3, 4, or 5 layers. For a more dramatic look, try using different types or shades of wood - either mix varieties, or stain/paint. With the full 5 layers, you'll have an outer layer with "O Holy Night" engraved, and a background piece with the Star of Bethlehem scored. I included a separate star piece that can be placed on the background for extra detail.
