    tabletop lantern

Frankly I am disappointed. The wood pieces fit a little too loose. I would have liked a design on the acrylic that was not so busy. 3 1/2 hours of engraving is to time consuming on such a small project.

    Faceted Tabletop Lantern

This is a beautiful lantern when completed. Instructions were a little bit confusing. I assembled the frame completely as shown and then was concerned about how to get the acrylic pieces into place. I began with the bottom pieces and used a bone folder to "pry the middle wood section up slightly so that the tabs would pop into place. This worked well. For the top section of acrylic if the top tab is inserted first the bottom pops into place easily. The design does not have a place to insert the candle unless you plan to remove one of the top acrylic sections so I added a cut out in the bottom so that it would sit down over a flameless candle. The design is beautiful and I will make more. I made it using wood and acrylic from SmokeyHills Designs.

    Lantern

Pretty lantern. Very difficult to assemble, and when done, no way to put electric candle in it.

    Small lantern

I do not have it done yet but it looks like it will be very nice....just expensive to produce especially if you do all three as a set.
