    Something fell short

    I just cut this design and found that the base plate pieces were totally wrong. The slots intended to insert the tree “trunks” are too long for the actual pieces. Also, there are two layers for the base, and the slots are different widths in each piece. The width (depth) of the base is narrower than the one in the photo so the assembly won’t be stable.

    Since I have cut the top parts, I’ll design new base pieces. Of course you can’t adjust the size of the slots in the GFUI nor can you download the design to adjust it. But it shouldn’t be necessary. I’m disappointed!
